A dual layer dvd holds about 8.4 GB, if someone makes a game that fits on one blu ray say 40 GB, then all you would need is 5 discs like Blue Dragon. Epic made mad money off Gears on the 360, could they make more on the PS3 as a mulitplatform release sure. In fact I hate console exclusives, just put the game out to the widest audience I say. But we do live in a world where the only thing that differentiates each console is their exclusives. Who knows gears may one day leave the 360 but I'd wait for Gears 2 to be ported to the PC before gears 3 shows up on the PS3.

I complained as loud as anyone about the archaic controls in RE5, but I actually enjoyed the game playing coop with a friend, playing alone not so fun. The dlc was fun too. SFIV is also a fun game if you have the right controller. I enjoyed devil may cry 4 and lost planet, not so much dead rising but that had more to do with some horrid game play mechanics: horrible shooting and save system.

Has software support accepted the defeat in 2009? There are plenty of games coming out in 2009, not many exclusives so far, but by no means no games. If I wanted to play an mulitplatform game I could choose between the 360, PS3 and the PC. Guess which one gets me playing those game...

If all art and animation assests are already on the disc, then you all you would need is code to get them reassemble with new rules. Hundreds of lines of code take up a few kbs. Most dlc that simply unlocks whats already on the disc is usually around 200kb. In this situation we have 1.8mb, thats alot of code. So the situation isnt exactly the whats being described on this thread.

Here: KZ 2 is a great game, with revoultionary graphics for a console, it has a fun multiplayer.

I took the opportunity, to discuss a perceived limitation of the 360 and speak on my own dislike for console exclusive games, but I know how the industry works without console exclusives what we have to argue about.
